Junior Web Developer

Advise Technologies is looking for a sharp and skilled web developer to join our new start-up operations in Amsterdam. Our smart and seasoned team cares about programming – its art as well as its science – and we are looking for developers who master not only what they build but why and how, and who can articulate options and choices with ease and intelligence. The ideal candidate for this role knows what it takes to work in a smaller company, will have worked with Angular/Node previously, and has at least 2 years of substantial experience with clear evidence of ownership on their resume.

Desired skills and competencies:

2+ years enterprise experience, including at least one substantial contribution to usable large scale software.
Articulate command of actual contributions to each of those experiences, as well as an understanding of the architecture, environment, and business cased involved
A thirst to work independently, creatively, and rigorously
A joy in collaborating to learn and to improve results
A head for tough puzzles and a drive to learn continuously
A sense of humor
Experience in a small, fast paced international environment is a plus
Strong communication skills and excellent English language skills
Authorization to work in the EU (no relocation package is provided)
